Today, I found some daffodils at the bottom of my garden. Where did they come from? Who planted them? How long have they been there? When was the last time I went to the bottom of my garden?
Why is it always windy when you want to take photographs of flowers?

Nice shot - and yes, it's ALWAYS windy when taking flower shots...
I'm sure Wordsworth wouldn't mind a bit of motion blur ......
I WANDERED lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of the bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood, They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Beautiful - I love daffs.
Whatever, its beautiful kat.
kat - simply breathtaking. On a recent photography workshop the tutor said it was good idea to go out into your own garden and look for subjects for close up detailed shots. I see now what he meant.
Thanks folks. I think the depth of field is a little too shallow but the weather was awful and I didn't have time to mess about too much.
